Darsell Johnson is running For Justice of the Peace – Precinct 2, Collin County Darsell Johnson is a dedicated community advocate and proud candidate for Justice of the Peace in Precinct 2, Collin County. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Darsell brings lived experience, resilience, and a deep commitment to justice and community service. A parent of nine children and a lifelong learner with multiple academic achievements, Darsell understands the challenges families face and the importance of building systems that uplift rather than divide. Having experienced firsthand what it means to be on both sides of the law, Darsell believes strongly in offering fair, practical solutions that genuinely meet the needs of the people being served.

For years, Darsell has worked to strengthen the community through activism and outreach—providing resources to combat homelessness, addressing drug addiction, and supporting youth who have aged out of the foster care system. Currently serving as a Case Manager and Team Leader in the mental health field, Darsell brings professional expertise in crisis care, conflict resolution, and supportive services for vulnerable populations. With a background in social services, community engagement, and legal studies, Darsell is prepared to bring transparency, integrity, balanced judgment, and compassion to the Justice of the Peace office.

Beyond professional accomplishments, Darsell remains deeply involved in service organizations, including active engagement with the Boys and Girls Club of America, volunteering with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, and serving on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
