About Jordan Wheatley

Jordan Wheatley is a public school teacher and former behavior technician who spent his early career working with kids with autism and supporting students and families across North Texas. In the classroom and the community, he has seen how rising costs, political divides, and leadership disconnected from everyday issues affect families in Collin County. These challenges hit home for him because of where he comes from. He grew up in a small West Virginia town where he learned that doing the work matters more than talking about it and that an honest day’s work should keep your family fed, clothed, cared for, and able to save a little.

Those lessons shaped his belief in humility, hard work, and truthfulness, and taught him that community means stepping up for people who can’t do it on their own. It’s the same approach he brings to his classroom today. To Jordan, teaching isn’t just about what happens in his classroom; he knows his impact reaches far beyond the school walls. For this reason, he remains an advocate for his students whose futures are currently under attack and why he has stepped in when resources have fallen short, by securing grants for library books, classroom supplies, and even a school garden.

He knows the future of Texas is those very students sitting in his classroom and they deserve someone fighting for them and their families. Jordan is currently a candidate for Texas State Representative House District 67, so he can go from the Classroom to the Capitol to fight for Freedom, Fairness and Security because believes in a Texas where families have the freedom to live without struggling every month just to keep up; where fairness means people get straight answers and honesty from the politicians elected to represent them, and where security comes from fully funded public schools, reliable infrastructure, and safe neighborhoods.
