Vikki Goodwin

Representative Vikki Goodwin is serving her fourth term in the Texas Legislature, representing parts of Austin, Lakeway and Bee Cave, serving on the Appropriations and Insurance Committees. She is a passionate supporter of public schools, understanding that a great education leads to better opportunities. Her top priorities are to: increase funding to public schools; ensure people can access the healthcare they need affordably, reducing the maternal mortality rate; pass policies addressing housing affordability; and update laws regarding water use, planning and infrastructure. Vikki and her husband raised their children in Austin, and run a small business together, Goodwin & Goodwin Real Estate.

Vikki is a graduate of the University of Texas, and earned her Master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs.
